This Week’s #TBT Book Suggestion
When I am picking out a book to read, I am usually in a mood for something specific. Sometimes it is a new release, and other times it is an older book. I love to hear suggestions from other people and thought maybe you may too.
So, here is this week’s gems from the past.
Mia Saunders needs money. A lot of money. She has one year to pay off the loan shark who has threatened her father’s life and is coming after his unpaid gambling debts. One million dollars to be exact.
Her mission is simple—serve as a high-priced escort for her aunt’s Los Angeles-based company and pay monthly against the debt. Spend a month with a rich man whom she doesn’t have to sleep with if she doesn’t want to? Easy money.
Unlucky in love with a spirit that never gives up, this curvy motorcycle-riding vixen plans to get in, make her money, and get out. Part of that goal is keeping her heart locked up tight and her eye on the prize.
At least that’s the way it’s supposed to go…

Mia is a 24-year-old woman was has always taken care of others first. Her mother left when she was just 10 years old and her sister 5 years old. Her father was a drunk so she had to do everything and now she has to pay a bookie a lot of money due to her father’s gambling dept…or else. So, she goes to her Aunt, who happens to own an Escort service in Las Vegas. As an escort, Mia devotes 21 days out of a month to each client.
As you read the book, you see she learns a lot about herself. Wes (Mr. January) falls for Mia and offers her to stay and he will pay off the debt. Even though she has fallen for Wes as well, she knows she has to do this for herself. As you read about Mr. February and Mr. March….you see how much Mia is growing and learning about herself. The writing is excellent and I devoured the book staying up late into the night.
Calendar Girl Volume 1 consists of January, February, and March. Each month can be found separately, if you prefer.
