Bad is the first novel in the ‘Bad. Dirty. Power’ series by authors L.P. Lovell and Stevie J. Cole.  Their books are always dark and twisted, although, Bad maybe their most twisted that I have read so far.  The storyline is gripping and had me on the edge of my seat throughout it all.

In this story, Ronan Cole is the head of the Russian Bratva.  He has been working on several political and personal plots. One of them has led to abducting Camilla Estrata, the sister to a powerful leader of one of the cartels.  Instead of being frightened by such a powerful and scary man, Camilla seems to enjoy challenging Ronan.  Though, like water and oil, they don’t play well together.

The sexual tension was so thick in this story that I hate to say I got a little bored with the foreplay.   Some of the scenes were pushing my comfort levels, but I could see how it might be normal for two twisted people like Ronan and Camilla.

I got to tell you though; it has one doozy of a cliffhanger.  So, be prepared!
