Charlotte’s Pact is the first book in the Demons in New York series and the debut novel for author Laurèn Lee.  The story line is unique, gripping and filled with many twists and turns.  The characters are well developed, complex and I was immediately hooked! In the beginning, the story switches back and forth between past and present, but not in a confusing way.

In this story, Charlotte and her best friend, Tori, are finishing their last year at college.  Tori sets Charlotte up on a blind date with Liam, a friend of Tori’s boyfriend. They hit it off and soon are living together and getting engaged.   Then, Charlotte and Liam are involved in a very bad car accident and the story REALLY takes off!

A fabulous story!

Can’t wait for the next book to find out what will happen next!
