Who are the Erotic Book Finders?

My name is Rachel and I’m a stay at home mom of two with a love of reading.  Usually, wherever I am….my Kindle is not too far away!

I didn’t always love to read.  Actually, in grade school, I viewed it as a chore…a homework assignment. I do remember the first book I read for pleasure.  It was the The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.  My joy for reading began. Friends started asking me for book suggestions. I used categories and key phrases to help me find them a book. I realized I can help others using the same phrases and categories.

I began reading many other blogs about contemporary, new adult & college, and erotic fiction, I loved them all!  When I am looking for a book to read, like most, I get into moods.  Some days I want an erotic paranormal and other days I want a bad boy contemporary novel, etc.  For my blog, I wanted to know how spicy, naughty, romantic,or erotic the book is.  Labeling these categories and creating a category/tag map allows you to choose books according to what you are in the mood to read.  I also added links to each book I review on Amazon, Kobo, ebooks.com, Goodreads, etc.  This will allow you to read the books summary as well as purchase any you are interested in.  I hope you find some great books and please feel free to make any comments/suggestions.

Hi my name is Jen. I’ve been guest reviewing for Rachel almost from the beginning (as JM) and now coming on full time! I’ve always loved reading.  I moved a lot as a kid and a book was always a friend. In high school, I would devour Silhouette and Harlequin Romance novels.  Then I discovered Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel, my first real erotic scenes in a book.  I had to get straight A’s to be allowed to read it! In my 20’s I found Anne Rice’s Sleeping Beauty Series and anthologies that I kept hidden away behind a closed door (sorry couldn’t resist the pun).

Now I like paranormal, suspense, horror, erotic, and historical fiction.  If they have a bit a spice – yay! I am not a fan of romance books of boy meets girl unless it is funny or suspenseful. I go for the books that invoke a feeling of living the character’s life or remembering that feeling of being newly in love.  I am pretty open to different forms of love and that it comes in all shapes, sizes, and varieties.

I am married to an American-Scots (important to know as a kilt makes me swoon) and have two kids.
