Release Date: June 6, 2017

Step into the Honey Club, where every sensual boundary will be tested in search of the ultimate pleasure…
Branch doesn’t exist. Living off the grid, he’s looking for a way to forget his past and the guilt that plagues him. But no woman has ever been able to bring him to the edge he craves.
After a traumatic experience of her own, Evangeline stepped away from the decadent world of the Honey Club. But when she gets Branch’s offer—to play without boundaries or commitments—it’s too tempting for her to refuse.
As their passion ignites, Evangeline and Branch push each other to their farthest limit, fulfilling their darkest desires while falling harder and deeper than they ever imagined.

Oh, there is almost never enough Honey! Again, I love this series and The Farthest Edge is awesome! There are not enough adjectives for me to describe how much I really got into this book!

This time the story centers on Branch and Evangeline. We meet Branch in the first book and know he’s the type of guy who gets things done that are not quite above the law. We only hear about Evangeline in the first book. She had a sub turn on her and get very violent with her. Her friends at the Honey miss her and want her to be ok again. This book is a while after the incident with Evangeline at the club, but she has not returned to the Honey or socialized with her friends. The club’s owner, Aryas, gets her to consider taking Branch on and Aryas tries to get Branch out of his shell and into his sub-kink by connecting him with Evangeline. While we see and hear about Olly and Amélie, they are secondary characters supporting Branch and Evangeline’s story. While reading the first book would be helpful, I think this could be read as a standalone.

The story of The Farthest Edge is very engaging and very different plot set up than the first. Except for the characters and what gets them off, there are no similarities in the stories from the first to the second book. I found this very refreshing! Branch is a very different character than many romance type stories and even though Evangeline has her own baggage, her process with Branch is exciting and engaging.

Yes, I loved this book and again my husband felt he needed to weigh in on this book and gave it 5 stars (he wanted me to use a different word (I decided it was too dirty) and you should know he didn’t read a single page, but he enjoyed it – cough, cough).

Putting a hand in and touching the fabric, Branch noted she had a fondness for silk and all of them were either dark purple, deep blue or black.

He also noted in an intense way that almost made him feel something, not only in his dick and balls, but somewhere else, that she had her shit tight.

She knew who she was. She knew what she liked. And what she liked wasn’t common or vulgar, as many people might see it (but he didn’t, he still couldn’t deny he like the way she obviously played it).

There was an elegance to her style.

It wasn’t about ball gags and he didn’t find a single strap on.

She got the life.

But she did it her way.

Yeah, that definitely almost made him feel something.

The next drawer down, he found more harnesses, these for smaller uses, balls, cock, jaw.

There were also two carved boxes he pulled out and opened, their original use was for rings or jewelry but she’d put four cock rings in the purple velvet in one and a number of gleaming nipple clamps with and without chains tangled against the blue silk lining in the other.

He put the boxes back, closed the drawer, straightened and took one last look around.

It was a well-equipped playroom. She could get creative and be clean and safe doing it.

He cast his eyes down to the top of the dresser, lifted his hand and swiped it along the top, shining his flashlight on his fingers when he was done.

She hadn’t been in there in months.

He drew breath in through his nose, switched off the light and turned his attention across the studio toward the wall beyond which was her house.

Aryas had made him an offer.

He needed to make a decision.

Jen here! Ok, The Deep End has made me reconsider my whole rating scale. A score of 5 is not enough – I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was hot and steamy. I fell in love with Olly and Leigh. I am definitely into the female domme and this book did not disappoint.

This book has the love story and the supporting characters.  It has the hot and detailed goings on at the Honey Club, an exclusive BDSM club in Phoenix, AZ. The author moves the POV between Amélie (Leigh) and Olivier (Olly).  This gives the reader a deeper understanding of what each character is feeling as their story unfolds.  It is particularly insightful in understanding why big strong Olly wants to dominated and what it means to him to give over to his desires.

This is a standalone book, but I am looking forward to finding out more about the Honey Club’s other patrons in the next book.

PS My husband insists giving his review based on the action he gets from a book.  He never reads them, but likes the fringe benefit. He says 3 stars (cough, cough).
