Release Date: July 10, 2017

Nadia Green has everything–power, prestige, and a fiancé. That all ends when she’s sentenced to life on the prison planet Tolbos. Within hours of landing, Nadia finds herself captured, stripped, and placed on an auction block, where she’s purchased by Ivar Holok, a brutal warlord with golden eyes and an ability to wield kaptum with a mastery unlike anyone she’s ever seen.

Ivar is instantly attracted to the beautiful slave, but he suspects her presence on Tolbos has sinister implications. The Council wants him dead, and what better way to achieve its goal than by planting an irresistible assassin in his bed? No matter how much he wants to trust her, Ivar has to protect his people–even if it means denying Nadia her freedom. He vows to keep her enslaved and at his mercy until she confesses her involvement in the Council’s schemes, but he didn’t count on the slave enthralling her master

Nadia has made a mistake that has landed her a one-way ticket to a prison planet. Her fiancé lets her take the fall and off she goes from her life as a star-ship officer to slave girl for a warlord.

Ivar is a warlord who is trying to figure out how the lovely and beautiful Nadia has ended up naked on the slave auction block. Is she there to spy on him? Or is she just the spirited lover he has been waiting for?

Think Mad Max with a bit of BDSM romance and strange metal that is both a coveted resource by a society that sends prisoners to mine it for their own use and is used by the prisoners in their own society. Ivar is clearly dominant and likes being in control. Nadia is intrigued and attracted to Ivar but doesn’t want to be anyone’s bed-slave.

Ivar’s Prize is a lot of fun. Great space story with a lot of spicy action. The BDSM is not heavy but definitely part of the story and a major aspect of Ivar’s personality as a dominant. There is one scene in particular in the mess hall that is super juicy!  The supporting players are nicely developed and definitely potential for some of their own stories. This doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, but not all the questions are answered about the politics going on between the prison planet and their jailers.

I enjoyed the book and hope there are future installments!
